thats the frustrating thing i brought a sling wrap so cd carry him most of time with me but it seems to have lost its snugness & am waitin to take back to shop for different type as wasnt cheap to buy & i just dont think its good enough quality…but days i have worn him for a while have been great..managed to cook a dinner & wash up with him…[Read more]

i am only just after seeing your post now and can relate to some of what you mentioned…the after affects of a 3rd degree or even worse 4th degree tear can be so much more emotional than the pain of physical even thou that can be very severe…

have you asked in your doctors for a special rate? i know i used to pay 10 euro sometimes for my bloods in doctors if I couldnt go to HSE clinic…but at full price it was 15 euro..maybe they will make exception at GP’s for you??

Hi Brenda, hope you got on ok this morning…i was in same clinic as gestational diabetes mums2 be due to my thyroid issues & it did seem to be quite common as they were always very busy waiting rooms so hopefully it wasnt that but if so i am sure you will be well looked after for your remaining pregnancy…

ahh Chickpea, thanks for sharing what happened to you in more detail..you are so so brave…it must of been horrific the pain you went through..i believe eptopic pregnancies are very painful & for the tube to rupture must of been even worse..so glad you were in right place thou…and they were able to help you straight away…

i swaddled with a cellular blanket for first few weeks..DS woudl sleep so soundly when he was all snug…used grow bags later but often wonder if thats why DS now still throws hsi feet out so much..poor little things if they get too warm in grow bag they cant kick their feet out…will use again but always makes me wonder…

i think you have to put lemon juice on to stop going brown…but i have always cut up & peeled my DS apples & pears & just put in plastic pot cover with clingfilm & even if he doesnt eat them & brings home they are still ok not brown..no lemon juice & he is a fussy one will not eat if they have brown bits on..

my friend had low lying placenta right up until late weeks of pregnancy & they wanted to give her a section but she didnt want one & held on until she went into natural labour at 42wks & the placenta had moved in last weeks enough to not cause any problems during delivery…she is braver than me…4 children..all natural deliveries….

Just had some very very sad news from Chickpea,bless her heart..unfortunately her baby found her way into her fallopian tube & sadly she has suffered a very traumatic eptopic pregnancy & has been very sick in hospital. So sad to hear as she has just been through so much to become a mum.

Maria..i had similar thing with placenta being low & it had moved by time i had big scan..so fingers crossed you can stay in MLU!
