Loved this book so much! From the very start to the very end, I gobbled it up. Adorable. Charlie is fab, she’s a brilliantly written character. Pete is brill, sensitive, sweet and solid. And Harry – well, Harry is a waste of space and a complete tool. Such a clever concept for a romantic, Christmassey book. I adored it. Will read again around…[Read more]

I really really liked this book. Callie has had so much heartache in her life and is just looking for some peace and quiet but she is dragged in to a terrible incident by the family she is renting a cabin from. Vanessa, the mother at the centre of the tragedy seems heartbroken, seems like the perfect mother, perfect landlord, perfect wife but is…[Read more]

Really interesting, this is a DS Kat Ballantyne thriller. She is a great character, really well written and rounded out. Fully enjoyed it, was keen to back to reading it each night after I’d put it down the previous one. Love a thriller with a smart woman on the case and this one is very well written. I like that there was a personal angle to the…[Read more]

So good! So good! I literally could not put this book down. I was absolutely dying to get the end to see who did what to who and who was going to do what to who now. I love the way it flips back to the college days to the current day. The fifth guest brings an unbelievable level of tension and terror to the dinner party. It is just such a fab…[Read more]

Excellent, really enjoyed this book. Hailey has rebuilt her life after the most horrific loss happened to her and she lost her family in a terrible crime. Now, questions are popping up about how and why they died and if it was all as clean cut as the police made out. A great character in the lead detective and really good tea, around him helping…[Read more]

Loved this book. Loved the previous book with these characters, they are tough women but vulnerable too. Really well written, gripping, twisty and set in Dublin. I really loved it. Couldn’t wait to get back into it every time I put it down!! Read it in 3 nights. Clever writing, good story and you’re wondering how its all going to play out. So good!!!

This is a good read, I really enjoyed it. If you have a boyfriend who has a friend you don’t ;like, someone you know is a bad influence, you’ll be into this book. Jason is too soft. Carl is a thug and is not above throwing his friends under the bus to save his own skin. And it falls to the women – the smart and capable women who are the only ones…[Read more]

I quite liked the up to date part of this book, the flashbacks I was not to so keen on. But the story itself is good, it is so sad to think that the husband was hiding so much and pretending to be something he definitely was not. Its devastating for Lorraine and its crazy how her life unravels after all the hard work she put into Serenity Falls. A…[Read more]

Really enjoyed this. Its quite dark and twisty. You really feel bad for Evie. Her life was turned upside down when she was a tween, and again as a teen and then, she went off and rebuilt herself into what she thought she should be. A successful professional, married to a man she ‘loves’ and trying for a baby. Its all going ok until she sees Alice,…[Read more]
