I didnt even know these sites existed !! 😳 Will def look them up, sounds great that you can get them covered and delivered…one less thing to worry about….
It is that type of attitude from FF and probably many other parties that really irks me 👿 . How dare they call to peoples doors representing a TD who is looking for your vote and then not even have the intellect or the manners to discuss or debate issues that concern voters. They feel that they have a god given right to rule and that is exactly why those people canvassing behaved like they did….they dont feel that they have to answer for anything that has gone wrong with the country.
It was the same this morning in the paper, when the Health Minister was queried about ward closures in crumlin and the long waiting lists for children, she said that we shouldnt focus on what hasnt been achieved and instead focus on all that had been achieved in the past 🙄 For the love of god…they are on another planet !!!! I dont know if any of them are worth voting for, the scary thing is that there doesnt seem to be any viable alternative 😥
I called both the sacred heart and grammar school recently about this….i felt a bit stupid as my dd is only in senior infants and both schools told me to submit applic forms for consideration and that many kids they had on thier lists were on from the time they were born !! Its a bit scary really that you have to consider stuff like this so early on !! I think if you ring the schools you are interested in they will tell you thier policies….

We were away in a hotel over the weekend and had 2 bad experiences there with meals, but at least there was a manager on duty and he was more than helpful…i still felt bad complaining but unless we as customers tell them when we are not happy they cant improve the service. I got a call yesterday from head office of the hotel to get more details and they were more than happy thatwe had raised the issue with them…Def get in contact with the hotel and if they are in any way professional they should be glad to hear the feedback so they can improve !
I made my own when we had dd christened…I just used coloured light card, picked a nice font and printed the inside on a home pc and printer, then drew the design on the outside and had them photocopied…As you are using babys’ pic on them, just paste it on and have them colour copied….its much cheaper and a nice keepsake…good luck 😀
so sorry to hear about your sad news, my thoughts are with you and your little angels…no words seem to be enough in a situation like this, make sure you take time to grieve and the most important thing is to talk about it whenever you need to….my heart goes out to you…good luck xx
cc1234 good on you for posting, it always helps to highlight awareness of these issues.. for a lot of people its something that they mean to do but just forget about so a reminder like this really helps. .i have always carried one and advised my family of my wishes just in case, it’s not nice to think anbout but it is important. It is a phase they go through…you can sneak in a few veggies into home made pasta sauce its all liquidised so they dont know anything about it…have a recepie at home if you want it…home made chips, wegdes etc are a great idea…you could also try raw veg sticks, like carrott celery cucumber etc and give her a little dip with bread sticks, kids seem to like dipping stuff and she mightnt notice she is eating veg !! As was said before, dont panic about it and good luck….
Its on in Waterstones, Scotch Hall from 7.30 to 9.00. The next one is on Wed. 25th march i think ….I cant for the life of me remember the name of the book for this month, i know its by Alice Sebold 😳 …havent started it yet !!! … 😀
Hi shellbell, i’m a blow in too, here for about 8 years and still know no-one apart from one or two of the neighbours as i work in dublin most of the week !. I joined the mumstown book club, its once a month and a great way to meet other mums and have a chat… it doesnt cost anything and it gets you out of the house for a bit of ‘me’ time !! good luck 😀
