The Drogheda Writes 2 anthology of poetry, short stories and memoirs by local writers and poets living and working in Drogheda is being launched on Monday 11 May 2009 at 8pm in McHugh’s. All are welcome to the launch. The book will beavailable at all bookshops for 12 euro however on Monday night it will be available for 10 euro.
It is being launched by Joe Woods of Poetry Ireland and some mums from mumstown have work published in this anthology. The front cover is a picture of Drogheda by artist Richard Moore.
Hope you can come and meet the local writers and poets living in the area, have a glass of wine and buy a copy of the book on the night. This is a a great gift for any one who has family or friends living abroad.
