You certainly had an eventful weekend hope all on the mend now. Sounds like your 8 year old has this;

My friends daughter had it last week apparently running through her school in Dublin. As far as I know it is very common and goes fairly fast so hopefully nothing to worry about.

boo replied to the topic car insurance in the forum National Chat 12 years, 3 months ago
Its cheaper to have a couple on insurance than one person, I’ve no idea why but it is.
I’m insure.ie they’ve always given me the cheapest quote last year it was €400 this year €420 when I renewed in October, fully compwith windscreen cover and rescue service, my husbands was similar, we have both changed our cars in the past two years from ban…[Read more]

We went through this with our daughter at a similar age. If you are holding her and she bites just put her down and say no biting and leave it at that, hopefully she will soon get the message. She is too young to understand and if you say too many words she will just get confused, usually they realise that they are not getting attention and…[Read more]

boo replied to the topic gfcf diet for Autism in the forum Education 12 years, 4 months ago
I know a few family’s who have children with autism who have tried the cf/gf diet with mixed results. It is worth a try. There are a-lot of experienced parents on the special needs discussion thread on rollercoaster.ie it might be worth posting there. Good luck with it, hope it works for you.
Also the Louth/Meath autism support group meets…[Read more]

I bought the questions only, years ago, I think it might have been in Easons somewhere in Dublin. Could be worth asking in Easons or Waterstones here they can order stuff in for you.
There are loads available on Ebay but hard to know exactly what your getting, could be old cards or the same ones you already have

It would probably be best for you to phone the hospital and explain what’s going on, they’ll advise you on what you should do, when I had my two we were told to phone the labour ward, my youngest is ten so hope that hasn’t changed.
My nephew is 6 weeks now but was only due this week, he is perfect, sometimes they just cant wait to appear.

I got rocosta (spelling wrong) boots in Dwyers for my two, one design goes up to size 5.5. This is the 4th or 5th year of getting this range of boots they are brilliant, totally water proof they wore them out in the snow all last year kept their feet warm and dry and still looked good.
The only problem is that as there is only one colour (grey…[Read more]

boo replied to the topic Suggestions for Childrens Menu in the forum National Chat 12 years, 6 months ago
I’d like to see a veggie option on the kids menu please. My kids would like the deep fried brie that you have as a starter as a main course with salad and chips, it would be lovely to get veggie options that were not just pasta, stir fry or omelette for both kids and adults.
I agree with the above posters about the half portions and to serve veg…[Read more]

My Mother changed her panda bins to panda pay by tag, this wasn’t offered to me when I phoned, if I knew about it I prob would have gone with the tag bin as we use the recycling centre a lot…[Read more]

boo replied to the topic Autism and secondary school in the forum National Chat 12 years, 7 months ago
It might be worth going to one of the support meetings listed below and and talk to the parents. There will probably be parents there in the same situation as you and parents who have children in secondary school who will be able to advise. Someone there will know of the legislation regarding your child’s rights or give you contact details of…[Read more]

I got an email from ticket master yesterday saying 2 for the price of 1 for the last few nights of Peter Pan.
My Daughters friend was at it and was not impressed, most of the lost boys are played by young adults and the songs were unfamiliar. She said the worst bit was that peter pan was, quote "a man in tights yuk". We have decided to go to…[Read more]
