LTomorrow we are sanding the decking…..should be fun and we’ll let the kid help somehow. Not sure what they’ll think!!!
sabbi kids love doing things like that – we have the water metres being put in – there was muck on our run in – and dh found the girls "cleaning" it with our kitchen brush yesterday 😉
St Annes Park Raheny- this weekend, Viking village – battle re enactment, Viking crafts, fun fair, bouncing castles, face painting, loads of food stalls, bands playing & generally very family friendly. we had a nice time there today & its on again tomorrow.
*** the earlier you get there (starts as 11am) the easier it is to park nearer the park***
have to say the Cadbury’s/Barnardos egg trail on sat was a great afternoon – really enjoyed it – only thing was the earlier crowd were still there when the gates were opened at 2pm for the next crowd – so it was very very busy in the afternoon
Irish National Stud is a great spot – our kids went with their Nanna and Auntie and absolutely loved it. They are still talking about it months later and now they’ve opened a large new playground too making it even better. http://irishnationalstud.ie/
And of course its near Kildare Village which is always nice to pop in for a bit. The Clark’s store there is brilliant and can save a fair few quid on shoes for the kids and there is a playrgound in Kildare Village too. And our girls love the Cath Kidston store, they always get something nice in there. Last time they got aprons for 6 euro which are really cute. Make sure to pop into the customer reception to ask about any offers – you can pick up an extra 10% off in there which makes it even better value. My sister was at the National Stud with her little on last Friday I think and loved it – said it was a brilliant day out

This is so much fun, I took my children last summer when they were 8 & 10 and they loved it. The tour is so interesting…we learned loads but its a laugh too, the driver was great craic and kept us well entertained all the way around.
This is such a fun day out and you can hop on and off so you can get the day out of it. there is also deals on getting in to places at the tour stops and half price lunches etc so you get loads of deals along with the ticket.
