    Moving a bit further north….

There’s one called Pirates Den in Dundalk (Coe’s Road).

If you are coming from Drogheda, take the first exit for Dundalk.
Keep going straight through a few roundabouts.
(Keep going until you pass Woodies on right & go through next roundabout).
Then take the first turn to the right which doesn’t bring you in to a housing estate.
It is on the left handside in a kinda industrial estate, but the sign is small.
It is pretty big – a bit warehouse-y, but my boys like it. Think better for 2+ years.

Move up north along the motorway towards Newry….

There are two really good ones here.

    Little Rascals:
Take the first exit for Newry (about ten min north of Dundalk)
At the roundabout, take the first exit signposted Forkhill.
There’s a golf course on the right & opposite it is Little Rascals.
The only criticism is that the car park is a bit on the small side.
(There is also a great toy / nursery / mum shop there called babame. Not the cheapest, but well worth a visit if looking for quality stuff & good advice)

    The Fun House:
Take the first exit for Newry. Drive into Newry & follow signs for Warrenpoint. At a roundabout with a boat on it (!) take the second or third exit – can’t quite remember. If you are on the right road, you’ll pass a football ground almost immediately on the right followed by what looks like lots of industrial estates. There is nothing on the left. It is signposted. Keep an eye out for a big golf shop & it is beside it. (There is also a baby equipment place next door to it)

In warmer weather there is also a decent playground in the car park at the Quays – fully enclosed.

    Hope this helps someone!
