Housework is ‘sexy’ – er, yeh?

So, a new ‘study’ (who does these so called ‘studies’?) has deemed that women are now realising that staying at home can be more satisfying than going out to work. That housework is calming and fulfilling and because men now do household chores as well, it is seen as a more worthy task.

Is this a load of old tosh?

Though I must admit, when the house is clean (rare!) I do feel good about it. If I change beds, clean floors, tidy up and make a nice dinner, I do feel satisfied with myself and like I am being a good Mammy.

Then again, when I get a cheque in for my professional outside work being done well, that’s a damn nice feeling too!!!
