Another reason to keep the cover….someone in the office just got the statement from VHI for a recent procedure where his wife had to get a knee replaced, surgeon, anaesthetist, x-ray etc. all came to less than €2,000, then another €14,000 for the 5 days in hospital!! Withno cover she would have had to wait almost a year and was in a lot of pain and discomfort! Ouch!!
(Maybe we should all set up our own hospital at those prices!) 😯
