All the state schools, well most of them are owned and built on church land and the parish priest on the board etc.. so that is why they need to be christened into the church.
My son isnt christened yet but I have his name down in the catholic schools, I was asked for a baptismal cert which I dont have but told them I would give it when we get one.
I put his name down in Le Cheile at 8 months and Im not even on the list for the year I wanted.
