    I heard a poor woman today saying she paid vhi for 40 years then she stopped when she got the medical card, since she has fallen ill and the vhi said they will take her back but wont cover her for this illness for 10 years, this poor woman was nearly 80 ❗ ❗ ❗ The government should hang their heads in shame or at least demand the the private health insurance companies have to take back old members at no extra cost.

    I would have been happier to see the childrens allowance go or be means tested then them hitting the old folks
