Just venting again…….my children’s grandfather went into A&E on Friday…..he got a bed on Sunday. This poor man is well into his 80’s and he would suffer from alzeimers too.

He was not a well man at all. The staff are always 100% and then some but when oh when is the bed situation going to change. How degrading does it have to get for people. Our elderly people deserve so much better than this…..bad enough to be in hospital but to be stuck in casualty.

As my dad said when they were complaining of a lack of beds in Mountjoy….’let them sleep on trolleys’.
