I was accused of all sorts when I decided to have a home birth but really, it was a lovely experience and is something I think more women in Ireland would be interested in if it did not have hippy connatations!
Have to say I’d be terrified… its not for me.
Things can go wrong so so quickly with even the healthiest pregnancy..I’d want a hospital sorry!I’ve seen the stats saying about it being better but nothing would convince me to be at home!
Also that time in hospital for me is a rest ..If I was in my own house I’d be looking at all the work that had to be done!@@!
