Back form a fantastic day at the zoo, there was a good gang of us 3 adults and 4 kids, it was packed but we and they had a ball..
DD was particulary delighted as she met Gerry the head zoo keeper from the programme and got a pic with him and got to chat with him for 5 minutes telling him all about watching the show and wanting to be a zoo keeper.
Really lovely day, knackered though and it was sooooo hot, I actually prefer the zoo in the Winter all wrapped up 😀
Ah im sure she made Gerrys day, he is lovely and has great time for people, he went off and got my ds a beautiful (free) book about snakes and creatures. They were chatting for ages, they work so hard yet they have so much time for the visitors.
The Zoo gets very very hot on warm days, you dont even get a breeze… i love cooler days as the animals are in better form, find the hot days they just lazy about in the shade… the monkeys love it and get very vocal on hot days
