Author event with Kate Carbery about her book ‘Becoming Mum’ will take place 25 March 2015 at 7.30 pm, Liberties Upstairs,140 Terenure Rd N, D6.

This a chance to discuss the book ‘Becoming Mum’ with the author. This book is aimed at pregnant women, those who have not long had a first baby or even mothers with more than one child who are interested in other women’s experiences. The book comprises real accounts of experiences of different aspects of pregnancy, childbirth and the first months of looking after a baby.

We are delighted to invite you to an evening of readings and discussion with Kate Carbery at Liberties Upstairs. It will also be a great opportunity to meet, relax and chat over refreshments with other new mums.
Kate will be talking about the inspiration behind her book and about the process of selecting the contributions for the book. She will also read a couple of extracts and then take part in a discussion session afterwards. Kate will be happy to answer your questions about the book and all things mum related!
