Anyone Recommend Lactation Consultant

Hi ladies

I have a little 8 wk old boy and am Bf’ing him.
We have some issues re fast let down.
He also has reflux and very gassy.
I would like to meet with a LC to get some guidance and would be grateful if anyone could recommend an experienced practically minded lactation consultant.

I don’t know about a lactation consultant, but I’m sure if you PM Caligal on here, she’ll help you out in any way she can…. 😉

thx, need any advice i can get.
have a 21 mth old as well who i bf as well.
poor little fella can’t get to sleep at all.

Try http://www.anulife.ie too, Clare who runs that is a midwife & lactation consultant and may be able to help you

Also Cuidiu meet in Drogheda every 2 weeks and Dundalk weekly for free too 😉

thx for all the replies.
I intend to go to one of the support groups, I went before for little girl and found it a great support.

Have two probs here I think and I need someone to come into house and see how can help. he has silent reflux so is plagued with that and then right breast has forceful letdown, this morning wouldnt even go near it.
it looks like I am forcing him on and then I move him to a more upright position to let him suck against gravity as such.
I don’t know if I cud do that in group environment would be too anxious.
