The car industry decided not to have any 13 reg cars incase it turned people off buying a new car. Er, in fairness, I think its more to do with the state of the country than anything else…
Would you seriously not buy a new car because of a ’13’ reg?? If I had the money to buy a new car, I would not care about the flipping reg number!!
Honestly, have we all gone mad when we change the way cars are registered because of a supposed superstition.

Nope I wouldnt be bothered by having a 13 reg.
I think we probably look like gobshites to other countries for being so superstitious.
I have relations who got married on the 13th and lived in no 13 house, they got the date they wanted in the hotel as no body else wanted that date…. they are the happiest and luckiest people.
I think they are doing 131 and 6 months later 132, the car industry asked for the spilt reg to try and boost sales half way through the year
