Hi. I know you said that you have tried many different lotions and potions. Just wondering have you tried vinegar? Warm vingegar applied to the hair helps to get rid of them. Also keep dipping the comb into the warm vinegar when combing through the hair.
The cheapest white vinegar will do.

Taylor why not get 2 or 3 sets of the interlocking road map mats in smyths – they can all slot together and it would work out cheaper than the lino?? They also have the alphabet mats which might come in useful for learning.
