Thats really sad, It’s a lovely shop and they’re very helpful. Is it relocating or another recession casualty?

Very sorry for your loss. Libby. The next few months are going to be hard for you, take care of yourself.
I strongly believe that messages come if you open your mind. My grandmother died last year, I’d lived with her until I was 16 and we were very close. After her funeral, her photo flutterered off the mantle and down beside my 2 children…[Read more]

Kate replied to the topic House Insurance in the forum National Chat 12 years, 9 months ago
You can do a price comparison on this site.
FYI, make sure you’re insuring for the right amount, not what your house is worth but what they will pay you to rebuild it (very different) also check out the fine print on the excess you’ve to pay on the plans. No point getting a cheaper quote if its a €500 excess. -

Does anyone know of a professional dog groomer within walking distance of Bettystown? Driving anywhere further than isn’t not an option unless they’d do pick ups and drop offs. Thanks!

I love Dear Zoo too, my kids are sick of it though!!
As a child my favourite book was Alice in Wonderland (the Disney version). Still brings back lovely memories of my grandad reading it to me in the garden.
Books are amazing. Last great one I read was The Forever War by Joe Haldeman. -

Ah used to love their pressed powder paper sheets that came like a little paper pad. Fab for keeping in your handbag. Used them all through teens and 20s when I actually had a life!! I heard Kate Midleton uses them (so not too shabby for moi!) but can’t see them on the site anymore.

I like the black bull bull but only now that they’re old enough to sit still!
Might try the Glenside if it ‘s getting good review here 😉 -

Penne Pasta in a vegetable and tomato sauce with option of chicken.
As previously suggested, free or half price kid’s mealwith a full adult’s meal would be a big incentive. There’s a lot of competition. -

Have to agree, they’ve made big improvements with the kids menu. Colouring and activity while they’re waiting. Lovely food and a great place to bring visitors too.
One little suggestion, and it would go for any restaurant. Is to offer ‘smaller’ kids options like in the states a lot of the restaurants do childrens & ‘bigger’ kids options. Mine are…[Read more]

Thanks scole, yes its that type of thing. I don’t know if it’s a spray on or sheets of contact. If it’s contact I’d be afraid I’d make a hames of it – bubbles everywhere!

Kate replied to the topic what would you prefer? in the forum SWAP SHOP 13 years, 5 months ago
I wouldnt feel comfortable accepting for nothing and depending on the scale, I would reciprocate with a card, wine or flowers. On the other side, I genuinely wouldn’t expect anything If I gave something for free. So that’s a bit unbalanced (like myself! 😆 )

It’s heartbreaking. I heard on the news that some parents are still looking for their children. I was getting the papers today and my god some of the tabloids have the most gruesome photos on the front. I can’t believe this happened in Europe? I stupidly believed that there was a protective bubble around the EU for these kind of attacks. All you…[Read more]

It’s a great place to chat – not as noisey as some of the other centres.
I dont know where the garda station is but If you come off the M1 go past the Retail Park with Harveys/Woodies – straight through the roundabout after it then take the 2nd right turn. Its a windy road and you’ll see a road sign for it. Then its on the left, beside eastern…[Read more]

We took a trip here this afternoon and the kids (2 and 4) had a ball. There’s great visibility, its bright and spacious and and its sparkling clean. No chance of ‘finding’ a manky sock in these ball pools 😆 We will definately be returning over the summer.
