Thanks a mil to everyone who posted. Can’t wait to start working through all your recommendations.
Taylor – Ido live in Drogheda. Looking forward to seeing your list. There is no rush as I will get some out of the library for now.
Are any of you involved in a book club? Have never been in one, but it sounds like fun.

Agree on Salthouse – definitely my favourite restaurant in Drogheda. Love everything about it, food, atmosphere, staff, decor etc etc. Also like Dvine.

Can you let me know your rates. I have a 9 year old boy and 7 year old girl. Am looking for childcare from July 19th between 8.30am to 6.00pm and from Sept I would need childcare from 4.00pm to 6.00pm
Regards

Try 3. They are in the Laurence Centre near M & S. Also log on to callcosts.ie. If you key in your usage they will check all the networks and give you the cheapest one to suit your needs. I tried this and it came up with 3. As my sister is also on 3, our calls to one another are free.

Anthony,
Did you contact Mamas and Papas. They may still have stock or know the name of the manufacturer. My sis had a similar situation with a stuffed dog from M&S and they managed to get her another one. -

I agree. I would hate to see them get it. But I thank my lucky stars that I have healthy kids as I know they would recover. I feel so sorry for people in the high risk category. My niece has a heart condition. She gets the flu vaccine every winter. My poor sister is really worried that she might catch as it would affect her much more and…[Read more]

To be honest, I am not worried at all. It is just a flu. As with all flu, the people at serious risk are the elderly and people with serious illnesses. There is no way I wouldgive a healthy person a vaccine. If the kids get it, I am confident that their immune systems will handle it and they will get over it in a couple of days.
I agree…[Read more]

No, a tonic contains certain vitamins and minerals that have been extracted from food. This is just raw whole food and contains all the nutrients that the body needs.
I believe that this is much better than a tonic, because we do not know which nutrients that our bodies are lacking at anyone time. The main reason that I take this is that it…[Read more]

Jillybean,
Have sent you a pm with details of an acupuncturist in Dublin who is also an obstetrician. I have heard so many success stories for people who are ttc, undergoing IVF and people who have had repeated miscarriages. If anyone else would like her no., please pm me.

My children are in Le Cheile. No. 120 is very high. The majority of places offered will be accepted by the parents.
I agree with Scole, and recommend that you have other options. I think you might need to accept that it is very unlikely that you will get a place. Sorry to tell you this but I have seen it happen lots of times. There are a…[Read more] -

My first birth was a home birth and he was in a breech position (but not fully breeched), about 1 month before I was due. If he had stayed in that position I would not have been able to have the home birth.
The home birth midwife told me to get down on all fours and let the top part of my body rest on my elbows, basically your bum is in the…[Read more]

Joey,
With four children under 5, it is an achievement that you even have the energy to post on Mumstown. I can barely manage the two I have.
When they were little, sex was practically non-existent. Now that they are 6 and 8 and we have a little bit of space to focus on us and get back on track.

Sabbi,
We now do it every second night. This was a decision after reading an article which stated that if sex takes a back seat in a relationship that the relationship will suffer. The article was titled "just do it" and they were advocating doing it every night, even if you did not feel like it. At the time that we read the article, we…[Read more]
