I would also recommend webkinz for the kiddies. It is a stuffed toy which includes access to free games and learning online. Most of the kids I teach have them, they are inexpensive so I usually use them as awards!

LOL this brings back memories! I was born in the 1980s but I still remember recording songs from the local radio station on weekends! Wow, seems like it was a century ago.

I have a cute story. I was tutoring kids (age 3 & 4) one day and I took a bite of my sandwich while they were having their snacks. One asked me if I had made the sandwich and I told them that my mother had made it. And the little boy said "Wow teachers have mums too!!". It was the most adorable thing I have ever heard!!

why hate Halloween? The kids love it and as long as they’re happy, nothing else matters. I personally love xmas though, with all the merry spirit of giving and sharing. People are much nicer during that time of the year.

That does sound like fun! It would be a great way to get the kids out there and be social, especially if they don’t go to preschool.

well I don’t know about that, but there are really interesting cooking lessons online. I don’t know if you have tried them already but there are some sites.

Well for the time being, I doubt there is anything you can do but keep giving equal attention to both. I’m sure and DS is a bit older and starts giving DD more attention, everything will be fine! Does DS play with DD? (pet him, talk to him etc.)

I had no idea such programs were available. That is a wonderful idea. I find that the kidsare eating a lot of junk food these days and they were not like that before.
