    Hi Everyone,

    was wondering if anyone knew if there was any groups of ppl who meet to support each other, widow/widowers etc.

    My aunt lost her husband a yr and a half ago and i know she’d like to talk to others in the same situation.
    she lives in drogheda aswell.

    Anyone any tips please?

    mmm not so sure, but maybe if ya had a look in the local paperthere may be a support group or even a women’s group she could go to……

    There is a group of widowers – i am off work for the next week , i can ask when i go back.

    They go away for weekends.. dinner etc.

    Everyone in the same boat

    saw this in the leader thought of you and your aunt…..

    national widows association

    the monthly meeting of the drogheda branch of the national widows association will take place on tuesday 31st march at 3.30pm in the westcourt hotel. all new members welcome to join in.

    hope that helps she could give that a try
