Did you know Finland has the lowest cot death rate in the world and they say their practical and safe ‘Baby Box’ sleeping method is why. This simple box sleeping method has been used by Finnish parents for the past 75 years with great success and had reduced their cot death rateso much so, that the Baby Box, has been getting alot of attention and is now available in Ireland!

It looks very simple and that’s because it is and you know what, often, when it comes to babies, simple is best!

We love this, its so so simple and very clever.

I have a baby box. I was reading about them a while ago after my mother mentioned that 2 hospitals in Ireland have started giving them out as an initiative for mothers to use for their newborns. Finland has the lowest rate of cot death in the world so they must be doing something right. Even years ago in Ireland back in the 50s babies slept in drawers. Small space for a small baby. Makes sense. I think Ireland needs to catch up and get on board with the baby boxes. Why would you not want the safest method for your new baby to sleep in. The baby box even comes with essentials that you really need. Great idea and I hope this takes off!!
