DS is 6months and loves apple, pear and mango. I’m still stewing and pureeing them. Does anyone know when I can just puree them without stewing?
Thanks for any advice you might have.
Hi Beamam, according to Annabel Karmel (my Bible!!) when baby is 6 months or older, you can use raw grated apple when mashing with banana and after the first few weeks of weaning you can puree ripe pears without cooking. Just be careful of the grated apple tho it can be a bit stringy. She doesn’t mention mango at all.
HTH 🙂
Thanks a million newmomma! I still have a stock of frozen fruit that I stewed and pureed but when I run out, I’ll just give it raw. Anything to bring down the workload!!
Thanks again
beamam
