Just saw these last night in the chemist next door to Dunnes in the Southgate shopping centre…..
E 3.50 if I remember correctly….August 5, 2010 at 7:48 am #97796Maria30MemberChemist in Town Centre sells them for 3.50 too.
I find them great for cleaning ds2 hands and face. He has excezma so we have to be careful about what we use
August 5, 2010 at 12:59 pm #97815Taylor5Memberi did try them and find them great but WAY too expensive to wipe poo off a babies bum! I get the pampers wipes (the white ones) in Tesco 12 packs for 13 euro cant go wrong with that
August 5, 2010 at 6:06 pm #97826JedtKeymasterI love these wipes, they are so thick that I can change a pooey bum with just one or two; therefore, I use way less than the supermarket ones so they last a lot longer.
But the main thing for me is that they are so soft and free from nasty chemicals. My kids all have sensitive skin and I canwipes their bums, hands and faces with these wipes and not worry about what’s in them.
Boots will be doing 2 packs for 7 euro as well, so watch out for that offer!
Well done to Irish Breeze for bringing out such a high quality product – they knew many parents were using water & cotton wool on sensitive bums so these do the same job but less hassle!
August 5, 2010 at 6:21 pm #97831Taylor5MemberI do agree with you Sabbi, they are heads and tails above any other wipe on the market… yes you do use less and great for little bums and delicate skin, but i just cant afford to pay that amount of money on baby wipes…. my dh would use at least 10 wipes on a dirty bum regardless of brand!!!! i would be having a stroke if i knew i paid 3.50 per packet 🙄 😆 😆 😆
August 5, 2010 at 11:00 pm #97865chewieodieParticipantI don’t buy wipes anymore…. just the odd pack… as my two are out of nappies. I just remember with my DD… she was a struggle with sore bum due to chemicals etc… so I’m a Burts Bees gal for toiletries…. love the stuff… and love it for my kids. But these wipes I found to be good… and yes, expensive, but they do last.
Incidentally, as an aside…. I brought out the paints today for the first time in over five years… and have to say that the best thing to get oil paints off brushes / body parts etc…. is Pampers. 😯 … and to think that I used to use them on my kids…. They work better than turps!
August 5, 2010 at 11:12 pm #97869Taylor5MemberBurt Bee’s bum cream is BRILLIANT… love it and the smell is so comforting
Where they the green or white pampers wipes? Dont say the white ones!!! 😯
Ds had a sore bum last week and i got 100ml of water and 10 drops of lavander (from the shop across from the bagel bar, very good quality lavander) Had no spray bottle so applied with cotton wool, two nappys later the sore bum was GONE!!!
Best tip i’ve ever gotten for sore bumsAugust 5, 2010 at 11:19 pm #97871chewieodieParticipantThe green ones Taylor…. 😉
