ok anyone know how to cover up water marks on a ceiling?

also today dumbo here left the skylight open yeah dopey woman, and the rain gushed in it ran down the ceiling and there will be a wet mark…dh is giving out yards thinking now that it’s gonna be more than a leak…eh hello it’s not a leak i left the window open and gravity let it drip down….

so has anyone had this happen and it’s easily dried out and painted over or is he right(please don’t tell me that) and it’s more???

put the heating on and if its dry leave the sky light open, you can buy expensive paint to go under the celing paint. i was talking to my builder last week about a leak we had he gave me a great tip, white undercoat paint on the brown water mark then your regular ceiling paint will do a perfect cover up and no stain showing through

Think Aldi were doing undercoat for 5 euro last week, but most people have a tin in the shed, you wouldnt need much to cover a water mark
