    Hi All,
    My 3 year old ds has warts on his bottom . He finds these itchy and sore . I took hom to the GP last week and was told to get salactol and treat them by placing the solution over each 1, then file it with the pumice. I have tried to attempt this but there is no way I can get him to stay still long enough.
    Any suggestions or even remedies on how to combat this PLEASE…

    our daughter had warts last year when she was 5, we used a homeopathic remedy, I cannot remember the name but it was great and worked really well, they were all gone within a few weeks of giving it to her. It was a daily little tablet and was not stressful for her to take.

    Hi Mariefg,

    Warts are very successfully treated with homeopathy. However as is always the case with homeopathy the remedy best indicated depends on the particulars – in your sons case what the warts look like, exact location, the itchiness and anything else that is particular to your sons warts – (including whether there is a family history of warts).

    Now don’t laugh, but I think the old cure was to cut a potato in two, rub the warts with one side – & bury the other half. Am open to correction….

    Warts are a virus & very difficult to get rid of as the virus can live in the system even after the wart has gone. They then tend to ome out when the immune system is compromised. I’d be inclined to boost his immume system with a tonic as well as treating the warts.

    Personal experience: an outbreak of recurring & stubborn veruccas & warts was ended by a visit to a healer in Carrick-on-Shannon (and that was after several bouts of surgery & they nevecame back) Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!
