    Hi Everyone,

AIMS Ireland (Association for Improvements in the Maternity Services) started an initiative in autumn 2008 to collect and publish "Positive Irish Birth Stories" for our website. Our hope with this initiative is that these stories will give reassurance to women giving birth in Ireland and that women would have their own collection of wonderful Irish stories to have as a reference – rather than American or UK stories as seen in most pregnancy books.

We had a great response to this appeal for positive Irish Birth Stories and have received some really empowering and reassuring stories in the past, thank you!

The feedback has been really positive from all who have read the stories – Mums, Mums2b, and Midwives alike have wrote into AIMSI commenting on them.

AIMSI would like to take this opportunity to make a fresh appeal for your Positive Irish Birth Stories in order to update this important section of our site.

    Please send them to: chair@aimsireland.com

We seek Positive stories from every variety! Stories already on the site include:

    ~ Positive Induction Stories
    ~ Positive Caesarean Section Stories
    ~ Positive VBAC stories
    ~ Positive Home Birth Stories
~ Positive Spontaneous – without epidural stories
    ~ Positive Vaginal Breech Stories
~ Positive Story after fertility treatments
~ Positive Vaginal birth with epidural

Look forward to hearing from you, Thank you!
