TV3 show Midweek is broadcast every Wednesday night at 10pm on TV3 and is currently presented by Nora Owen.
On our show for May 25th, we will be looking at the issue of childhood obesity. We will be joined in studio by journalist, Kevin Myers and another guest, possibly, Dr. Donal O’Shea.
The in studio interview will be preceded by a report giving an overview about obesity in Ireland. We would very much like to have a parent featured in the report. We would like to speak to a parent whose child may be suffering from obesity. The interview would focus on the pressures that face parents and whether there is enough support out there to help parents who have children with obesity. We will be filming next Thursday or Friday for this report and our reporter Ciara Doherty would travel to the home of the parent to do the interview so there would be no travel involved for the interviewee.
