Trad on the Prom Trad on the Prom – the number 1 show celebrating Irish culture at its very best returns from May to September 2010 for its 6th successive season to the modernised Salthill Hotel overlooking Galway Bay
Suitable for all nationalities and ages, Trad on the Prom features the amazing talents of Máirín Fahy on fiddle and vocals. Máirín was previously the featured soloist with both Riverdance and The Chieftains. She is joined on stage by Chris Kelly and her world-class band featuring multi- instrumentalist Yvonne Fahy on accordion and bodhrán (Irish hand drum) and the haunting music of the uileann pipes performed by Gerard Fahy, musical director of ‘Lord of the Dance’.
The show features an array of World Champion Irish Dancers lead by Cian Nolan (Lord of the Dance), Clare Greaney, The Keaney Brothers, Mary McDonagh and Rachael Keaney. Singers include Eurovision star Marc Roberts, Multi-AIMS winner Sean Costello and Chieftains vocalist Yvonne McMahon.
