MemberI was there about15 years ago if not longer, it was great in its day but I do remember reading someones post about it being a bit tatty and dirty now.
Maybe have a look at some of the Quality inn hotel offers, some do apartments on the hotel grounds and you can use the pool, bar etc…

MemberMy Borther in law & his wife took their 2 kids (girls 4 & 7) there in June for a week. They had an absolutely brilliant time, the kids loved it. They stayed on site, however they did say that their chalet/house was quite small and very basic, but the kids had a ball. There were activities on all day from morning until night and the kids are still talking about it..

MemberHiya
My friend just came back and 8 of them booked a big house there. If you book it in January you get a good price discount. We where going to go for a week in a smaller house and it was working out over €1000 not worth it in my books. But its all been renovated now and is lovely and clean because I wouldnt stay anywhere that wasnt spotless or eat!
Its fun packed for kids all day and night long. I remember when I was a kid going to Mosney. All my lot all 70 of us would get the fast orange train from connelly to Mosney in our new runners for our week holiday with the red coats!!! My mother used to drink and she said they where the best holidays ever! They would be in the pub all day long and not have to worry about us!
Then again it was safer in them days needless to say she doesnt drink anymore and I would never leave my kids to drink in a pub all day but what im saying is there was so much to do and it was so much fun we didnt miss them either! We went to puwelly in whales one year aswell!! 😆 😆 😆 Oh the memories!! We lost our uncle on the boat and everyone thought he was left behind and they where the days of no mobile phones 😆 😆 😆
We all caught verruca and on the odd occasion scabies but if we are all around the table at christmass theres always a funny story about going to mosney in the 80’s!!!!!! 😆 😆
If you have the money and there is a group of you going then go for it, the craic is 90 and you will have great memories. 😀
