Fab deal…just booked it with our family. Any house up to 9 people only €125 for fri-mon or mon-thur on certain days in September…..amazing value. just look at their website and ring if says limited availability. Sounds too good to be true but its a real bargain.

Just looked at their web site..its a fab offer alright…

Why not Taylor? Sure it wouldn’t be detrimental to his future career if he missed 3 days of colouring and abc’s!!!! 😆
My friend in England would be like that too though , would never let her 5 year old have a day off for a trip.

It has never bothered me at this age to be honest..maybe I am wrong to think like this though? 😕 😕
I know we just couldn’t afford to holiday during school hols..simple as that. 🙁

I know HMM my mam and dad were like that, we always had our holidays in september as they were much better value…. then we all came home and we were sick for a month it was so cold 😆 😆 😆

i know someone taking their child out of school in Dec for 3 or 4 weeks, they are going to the sun for the xmas and newyear, she wasnt going to go this year but her father is very ill and as she said it might be his last, so a few weeks missing wont kill the child.

Moonflower i have booked a midterm break already, not to the sun just going to Arklow (no laughing in the cheap seats 😆 😆 😆 ) We had a hotel voucher to use up so we book 3 night b&b and 1 dinner for 98 euro each and the kids go free!!! Happy days… nice treat for ds’s first midterm…. was looking to book Disneyland paris, got a great price from platinum travel, but dh said it will be TOO COLD in Feb and ds2 too young, so going to wait untill later next year

Mummy5 dont think i’d go down for just 2 days, but if you go let me know what condition the camp/park is in, as i would love to go to Cork next summer loads to do and this would be a brilliant base for the kids

AH why is it always when they are in school, dh hasn’t been able to take holidays but i’d say he would be able to now, but with ds1 in school it’s a no go, last year i would have gladly missed days off in montessoir but not with primary school….

think all kids getting colds etc now, with the change in the weather it’s bound to happen, calpol and some tissues, they’ll end up getting worse anyways a cold is nothing…i’m still waiting for ds1 to get the chicken pox he’s been in contact with loads of kids and 4 rounds of it in montessori and still nada nothing, bet you 5e he’ll get it this year and be out for a few weeks what’s the bets…

Think the Fri-Mon deal okay as you could leave on a friday after school and just miss the monday at school. I think if you’re honest with the teachers they are okay with it but its the kids who just disappear out of school for a week or two or three that drives them crazy…..I know some people who just think its okay take your kids out and go without letting the school know.

Ds was sick this morning, he came into me and said mummy i feel sick, he had a temp of 39. Gave him calpol and it came down, checked it before he went into the class, told the teacher… she will know if his temp goes back up as he vomits and goes all floppy! 😆 😆 😆
God such a caring mother shoving her child in to school like that 😯 Its only a cold and if i was to keep him out for everyday he has a high temp he would never be in……. so going to save my days for sick days as i have a feeling i’ll be needing them

Well……it was fine. Bit nervous going after reading reviews on tripadvisor 😕 but was fine for a few nights away with the kids. The pool was very clean and have to say the warmest pool I’ve ever been in with the children. The 2yr old was in for bout 90mins an not a blue lip or a shiver. Was lovely to be so warm in the water and the sun coming in through the all glass roof. 🙂 Houses very basic, but clean. Bed linen clean and ironed, all utensils you need in kitchen. Ovens, kettle, toaster spotless. Bathroom very clean. All in all okay. We stayed in the forest oak house. Lots for the children to do, some free, some pay as you go like the go-karts, trampolines, absailing etc. Would I go again, definately yes. Would I pay full price, definately no…only on a special offer like we went on.
