This made me laugh…..
I heard an ad on the radio for Top Gear at the RDS this weekend and the ad said visitors should not drive to the event, they should use public transport as there is nowhere to park.
So, a bunch of car enthusiasts are heading to an event about cars; they will be looking at cars, talking about cars, test driving cars but to get there – they cannot go in their own car!!!???
Ironic?!!
DH went last year.
As i recall, I was unavailable for any dropping off for some reason. So think he got bus to town, walked to train, train to dub than cab to rds – no car in sight!
And he said it was bobbins.
And he was the only one of his chums to remeber to tell their dw about the dollies draped over the supercars in rather fetching dental floss bikinis and zipiddeedooda else.
But that’s cos he knew I’d find out if he didn’t fess up straight off, not cos he right-on and disgusted by the degradation of women or owt – he knew I’d give him what for if I later discovered that he’d "forgotten" all about them!
