Feeling under so much pressure to drive daughter in tonight and wait to bring her home. She is singing with her school choir in the finals tonight. Checking weather forecast and its -2 to -9 tonight again nationwide so will be a hard frost whichever way you look at it.This is the finals and the show starts at 7.30pm so wont be over until late. I’m a confident driver but common sense would dictate not to drive in such bad conditions if not necessary…any idea what roads are like in town at the moment up that way. Know roads home will be bad, they always are out our way.
In all fairness TLT have put up on their website the following…
|"Coca Cola School Stars secondary school final will go ahead tonight as planned. A thaw has begun in the region and the TLT team are hard at work all day clearing the footpaths and access roads around the venue of snow and ice. However we would advise everyone traveling to the finals to allow themselves plenty of time for travel and to take their time as some roads and footpaths in the area are still dangerous. Show starts at 7:30pm."Just feel its not a great night to have the final of a show that involves so many school kids. Irony is schools closed today due to bad weather conditions and yet they have to travel in later tonight for this show:?
