I have been humbled, empowered and brought to tears this weekend by the referendum result. I just could not believ it happened the way it did by such a large margin.
I never expected it to pass so strongly and its a testament to the power of women in Ireland and the support there is for women in Ireland.
Its been emotional but its a great result and this is the start of a new Ireland, one where women are taken care of and not made into pariahs.
Well done Ireland!
