Well ladies, I’ve just returned from our night away… and let me tell you, I’ve never been to a more fantastic B & B! Killyliss Country House… on the border of Monaghan and Cavan….
The hostess, Pauline was totally superb… and the whole experience was just what we needed. Apart from the B & B side, she has a fully self-contained lodge at the back of the property. Her attention to detail, (plus the fact that you have an option to have a four course evening meal)… was outstanding… and man alive, that lady can cook! Food was delish.
So, if you are looking for a home away from home…. set in the countryside… very close to Ballybay…. it is gorgeous!
