ok i’m offically NUTS, hubby decided that the tree was going up, ds is delighted with himself, so tree was put up yesterday and myself and ds trimmed the tree today and i stuck the rest of the decorations up…..so the house is all christmasssy……i know 31days before Christmas, but hey we’re gonna be busy the next few weeks so hey why not, heading to london next weekend to see santa and can’t wait….it’ll soon be here….
oh and the pressies are all wrapped and under the tree looks fab….
must be the hormones…..lol…
but have to say ds is sooooo excited hope it lasts lol….I’m getting excited just reading your post! I have to wait for a very important 5th birthday … but then I can’t wait to join in the joy!

Dh was laughing saying we would call over so A could look at your lights as he wont see ours for weeks 🙄 🙄 🙄
But saying that Dh has cleaned and moved the fish tank (wait for him to do this for months) so I bet he will want to put the lights up next weekendWell you have definately helped me make up my mind. i will be putting my decorations up this weekend…..cant wait. Then gonna get the fire lit, a glass of wine and write out the christmas cards.
Looking forward to it now,,,and don’t care what the neighbours will think, I want to get in to the chrimassy mood!!!!YEH!!!! I am defo putting up mine next weekend!!! 😆 My daughters bday is the 14th so cant wait now!! Still have sooooo much to buy! 🙄 😆 Still though I cant wait for the christmas mood to set in!!! The weather is getting colder everyday i think!
Well i am slightly miffed!! Just got off the phone to my Mum, who lives in south east England…and they have had snow for the last 2`days…soooo jealous!! And it was proper good snow as well, the stuff you can make snow men out off. If that doesnt get ppl in the christmas mood I dont know what will.
I would love for it to snow here, just to be outside having fun!!!ahhh really, the lucky thing ask her to post some over…..feels strange with tree up, neighbours think i’m nuts who cares, but then ya look out the window and it’s noce out, cold but nice….bring ion the snow….how nice would it be for snow on x-mas day

Ah I wouldn’t worry about the neighbours…they are prob just jealous as you have the guts to put your decorations up now. I told my DH we will be putting them up this weekend….he gave me such a funny look, like I had gone nuts!!! But I don’t care.
We have a fake christmas tree but would you know where I can get a real one from? Would Homebase sell them?Guess who has there tree in the hallway!!! 😆 ready to be put up! my mum thinks the neighbours will egg my house!! 😆 😆 Feck them its all about my kids and we started making little crimbo stars to put up onto the tree, my mum did it with us and she still has them! enjoying everymin of it now this time next month it will be all over! 😥 I think people will enjoy christmas a lot more this year because they will not be spending as much as people dont expect as much due to the lack of money in our bank accounts these days. Cant wait for the kids nativity play and xmas eve mass! oh and of course ice skating at the RDS our big day out! 😆 😆

Ally you would get any real trees on sale at the minute, sure it would be dead by xmas (you would need to have it in water to get that long out of it) There is a lovely seller on the Dublin road near the boyne valley and the guy in Laytown does lovely ones (the fruit shop Lismora (sp))
ah use an artificial one last years lol….we have a nice one….got it for a bargin, we’ve had it 5 years nowit’s great…..
can’t wait off to london next weekend to visit santa in harrods…can’t wait….have whole weekend planned as my ds b-day is the week after so this is his christmas/birthday weekend…that coz he get to see santa…..we’re gonna go to the london eye, he was on it when was a baby so will remember it more now…..
then the aqurium, santa, natural history musuem where they have the giant dinosaur bones, science musuem, rainforest cafe, gordon ramsay cooking demo, then hyde park for their winterwonderland, where they have outdoor ice skating, german markets, and lots more…..so excited…..been looking on net all afternoon….. sorry for bragging just sooo excited….obviously highlight will be santa…it’s like switzers was like all those many moons ago….
oh happymammy hwat ya make your stars out of?? paper and glitter or lollipop sticks…..must make some…..my mil has one my hubby made when he was 4 it’s awful but cute….see it every year he cringes…..
Ah Noooooo, It didn’t even cross my mind that getting a real christmas tree this weekend that it would be dead by christmas……Gonna have to go with the artificail one again. I know it will still look nice but nevermind.
