A Big Thank you from all at St. Brigids Cardiac Unit, Crumlin Childrens Hospital & all of the 2009 Charity Craft Far Committee.

We went out to St. Brigids Ward today and met some of the lovely children. Both staff and children were delighted with all the stuff we brought in. We had been given a list of toys etc that they wanted for the ward to help make the lives of the children in there a bit brighter.

And wow, seein…g their little eyes light up when they saw all the games was amazing. We also brought them in a buggy and a highchair which were badly needed. The rest of the money raised is going towards a parents room which they are hoping to have soon.

One little boy asked us if we were rich that we could bring in so many things. And another child said he was sad to be going home today as he wanted to stay and play.

Without you all and your help we couldn’t have done this so a big thank you all for supporting 2009 Fair and we really hope to meet you all again in 2010.

well done to everyone involved, i know how scared a child can be going into hospital and all the toys and activities they have in the hospital now thankfully to donations and the kind people who raise all the money for it all each year really help
as a parent of a child who regularly attends crumlin hospital thank you for making childrens visits and stays in hospital less scary

When we started the fair first we hoped to make €1000 if we could, so thrilled when we managed to make almost 4 times that! It went very well but we wouldn’t have made so much if it wasn’t for the generosity of all the parents who came and supported it.

We really hope to be able to help more people with this years fair so please keep an eye on the website for more information about when that will be.
