My DD got her first tooth last week at 11 months.
Have to say after reading posts on this and hearing some of the horror stories i was actually kind of worried about the tears and drama of the teething process!
Although my daughter most have one good pain barrier! Wasnt any kind of problems the whole way to the tooth coming up! No tears, No sleepless nights (or afternoons). Im thrilled! Pretty sure she can face anything now!As she needs a little heart operation, nothing to serious i was up the walls with worry but after seeing her cope so well with teething i reckon she will be just fine!
One in three weeks i cant get over it! Time flies eh?? haha!!

Our DD didn’t get her first tooth until just before her 1st birthday and although as with all her teeth she had some discomfort and unsettled at times I think it wasn’t too bad in general. DD is 2 now and probably the hardest ones coming were the molars but still she’s been great about them.
Wishing your DD well with her heart operation and the best of health and happiness for you all in the future.

My ds took to his bottle whenever he was getting a tooth – woke at night for a bottle. My dd is doing great – fusses a little during the day when teething but does not wake at night – thank god.
Good luck to your little one on her op – I’m sure she will be fine, they are amazing little fighters for their size.

Still waiting to hear about the operation but had her up in a&e last week with yet another viral infection- which of course they cannot treat!!She is great though back to her normal self! You really wouldnt think there is any problem with her.
Just found out the PDA she has is Genetic and her 2nd cousin has been rushed to hospital with the same thing so Im thinking ill ring the hospital tomorrow and let them know. Hopefully it will rush things along for my DD.Just got word my sister is pregnant now too.. im thrilled and i cant tell anyone!! 😆 She is due to get married in May and is due her baby in Feb its very exciting for her!!!

Its great to hear how well your dd is doing. Walking brings along even more fun. Think it would be definitely worth giving the hospital a ring about operation. It ll do no harm to keep them informed.
Your sister is definitely going to be busy over the next few months.
