    can anyone tell me what you are intitled to on a medical card to get your teeth done….. or is it still only emergancy treatment???

    As far as I know…. consultation and 2 fillings per year….

    And if you have to have root canal or something equally as exciting, depending upon the position of the tooth in the mouth, it may also be covered.

    And if you are looking for a dentist…. I can’t recommend BALBRIGGAN Dental highly enough! They are brilliant… 😀

    i thought they had pulled the plug on the dental scheme ??? but if your sure i will ring up 🙂

    Well, I’ve been going there since last year, and I have a medical card…. 😉
    Give them a call…. the gals there are very helpful…

    some dentists aren’t part of the medical card scheme……it has all changed in the last budget, what it does/doesnt cover. know its very limited now.

    They pulled the plug on the dental covered by PRSI – I believe the medical card still covers a bit.
