    watched it, some great tips in there..reminded me of my nan..she always used to darn my dads socks and turn his collars & cuffs on his shirts when they wore out…and kept everything possible saying it may be needed or used for something….

    beleive it or not i actually sew DH’s socks up when they get holes…yes i know they re cheap enough to buy now but i think of environment and he only wears them a few times & toes poke through…

    Sounds interesting – what day / time is it on?

    All my socks seem to have holes in them at the moment – keep meaning to buy new ones – never even entered my head to darn them!!! Will sew in buttons eventually!!! How we have changed over the years.
