Forgot to post up there is a steam train from dundalk to drogheda return, tickets 10euro per person 1pm today (Sunday 7th) return by 3pm.
Even if you cant make it you could bring your kids to the train station to see the engine while it turns around or even see it going over the viaduct would be a fab sight.
