It’s that time of year again, Christmas is just around the corner and all of us are manically buying presents for our loved ones. The queues in the shops are growing by the minute and no doubt it’s the mums of Britain who are the ones doing the queuing.
As well as the endless shopping for loved ones that most mums will endure this festive season to give their families an amazing Christmas, they also take on the majority of preparations for decorating the house, preparing the Christmas dinner and even doing the cleaning up.
And for how many mums, how much of all that hard work gets taken for granted? How many mums end up buying mountains of presents for their loved ones only to get a pair of socks in return? In fact, how many mums have to actually buy their own present to give to their partner or children to be gifted back to them on Christmas Day? Hardly fair, considering just how much effort most mums put in to make Christmas exciting, stress-free and fun for everyone else.
Busy mum of three Carol Smilie is used to juggling priorities at Christmas, not least because it is also her birthday just two days before Christmas Day and she’s joined with Argos to help the mums of Britain have a more enjoyable and less stressful festive season this year.
Log into our liveand interactive WebTV show where Carol Smilie will give her top tips for mums on how to unburden themselves this Christmas and also to make sure they quite rightly don’t have to shop for themselves this year. She’s also got advice for those of us want to make our mum’s Christmas the best ever by picking out a present she doesn’t have to battle the crowds for herself to get.
