Anyone got solar panels, a neighbour got some last week and Im really thinking about investing in them… free hot water sounds great.
If you have them could you advise on any pros or cons of getting them fitted

Hi Taylor, replied to you on eumom aswell.. we got them fitted earlier this year and I have to admit that they are good – they were a bit tricky at first – just getting settings right etc, but now they are fine – with the weather being dull you need to have your boiler kick in to bring the temperature up, but seem to be working out!
Its great because you get a grant aswell for installing them.
I don’t but contact SEI (Sustainable Energy Ireland) as I think you can get a grant to help with the cost of installation.
