Hi, I’ve posted this in Dublin chat too but thought I’d ask here as well as there seems to be lots people on national chat…

I’m looking for things to do over the Easter holidays and I heard that the Windmilll in Skerries is fun for an afternoon with the kids.

Just wondering if anyone has been. What is there to do and see? Is there a picnic area or a coffee shop and is there is a cover charge?

    Thanks

    Hi Sabbi,

Its a nice little spot with a duck pond (not fenced though) with swans etcand a lovely green space to run around and have a picnic. Inside the mill itself is a small museum showing old fashioned milling equipment and then coffee shop , bit of an art gallery and a shop selling crafty things – some weekends they have musicans there playing guitars in the cafe. No charge to get in and easy parking – hope that helps.
