Our girls went to Miss Sinead for the past 2 years and she is absolutely brilliant.
She creates a fun, relaxed environment but has enough discipline that the children actually learn properly too.
We had our eldest daughter in another dance school before she went to Miss Sinead and she did not like it at all – she said the teacher often shouted at the students, so we took her out of that one and based on reccomendations from another mammy, enrolled her with Miss Sinead.
Highly recommend – great for building confidence.September 19, 2013 at 3:18 pm #129203
THEATRE SCHOOL OBJECTIVE
During your child’s time at Sinead Lightley Theatre School, we aim to –
[*] Fire their imagination to create original characters from within rather than the computer generated ones that are given to them.
This is acheived through fun and lively workshops that give them a strong basis in all disciplines involved in the arts, from Shakespeare through to Disney.
[*] Encourage a lasting appreciation and love ofthe theatre, with grounding in all elements through improvisation, script reading, musical recitals including singing and various forms of dance.
[*] All pupils take part in our Annual school show which takes place in June At the Droichead Arts Centre. Drogheda.
[*] We offer graded dance and drama exams which gives pupils the opportunity to continue through to teaching level.[/*:m][/list:u]
Through these disciplines, your child will gain social skills and confidence, with the ability to speak in public with projection, elocution and deportment.
We hope to continue the rich history of Irish theatre, who knows where the next Yeat’s, Pierce Brosnan, Sinead Cusack, Dervla Kirwan, Liam Neeson or Jonathan Rhys Meyers will come from??September 19, 2013 at 3:31 pm #129206

Our girls will be going and they are so looking forward to it. Seeing them on stage at the end of June after all their dance & drama rehearsals was one of the highlights of our year. It was so adorable and funny, I actually laughed until I cried 🙂November 13, 2013 at 1:17 pm #129309
Just a reminder that the classes are ongoing throughout the year.November 14, 2013 at 10:17 am #129746
Sinead is brilliant. The classes are pay as you go, so no pressure to pay any big fees.
Our daughter got a lot of confidence from the classes and they have an end of year show too in June, which we brought the grandparents to and it was brilliant. Tears and laughter all round.
If you are looking for a dance/drama activity for your child, Miss Sinead really is . Worth a go.
