Hi Folks, If anyone is thinking of parking in Scotch Hall this morning, I would advise using the ground level car park (accessed from the Marsh Road, next to D Hotel) as they are working to make the ramps on the Dublin Road driveable. As I walked past in the last hour, a lady with her children was spinning wheels and getting nowhere near the bottom of the ramp but there were already a queue of cars behind her. I drove her car up the ramp with help from the scotch hall guys with their shovels but it took us about 10-15 minutes, then the guy behind couldn’t get up the ramp, so anyone sitting in the queue is in for a long wait!
Tv3 news and weather was just saying this morning "mostly dry apart from the south west with possible light snow showers in midlands"!!?
Apart from, that is, the BLIZZARD UP HERE!! lol
I don’t think people in other parts of the country can believe how bad it is out here, my in laws were at work and shopping yesterday and could not believe we were snowed in…they are grand where they are in Dublin. Its madness how awful it is here on the east coast.
may have to go to the shop in my wellies later on, don’t fancy driving it today, snow is pelting down here, nightmare!!
