Scouts-Beavers

Does anyone have their kids in the scouts or beavers. Mine are 4 1/2 not in school until next september but i want to start getting there names down for different things. My DH was in the scouts for years and it something we would like them to be involved in. There used to be a scouts hall at Laurance gate, not sure if still there?
I suppose i better be careful what i wish for, my colleague his daughters have activies 4 evenings a week.

thanks lisa, 6yrs for the Beavers so i have a couple of years yet. Those web sites are really good. I thinki joined the girl guides for 1 nite and left after we had to learn a poem. I think i was about 7 and was terrified. 😳

My L is a cygnet (bit like ladybirds) & she loves it

I was a girl guide for years & I really loved it & became a leader when I was too old for girl guides
