scan / 1st hospital appointment?

girls, just wondering about my first hospital appoinment, does the GP send in the letter to OLOL or do I ring myself to book my appointment, I cant remember from last time

i was given a letter from my gp then had to go up and make my booking in appointment for the 1st visit/scan

trixie to be honest i’d ring myself – i know i did on last pregnancy and got a scan at 13 weeks. Scole has had some hassle with letters going missing and her first scan isn’t till 18weeks.
I’d ring them and see what they say.

trixie best thing is to get the doc to fax over the letter, and keep on them, as munchin said i had to keep on them as letter went missing etc, now not being seen til jan when will be 18 weeks….

You can ring but they wont let you make an appointment without a booking letter from your gp (its all changed)
Go to your gp asap and he could post a letter and fax it off too, so you could ring that day and book over the phone (once they have a fax)

i went to docs yesterday, so i could ring hospital tomorrow to see if they have got my letter yet, if not i will ring docs and get them to fax it for me
