Hi everyone, Angela and Jolene here from Friends of Breastfeeding.
As part of our celebration of World Breastfeeding Week (1st – 7th Aug) 2010, we are working on a couple of things…
(1) Professional Photoshoot
Friends of breastfeeding are inviting you to join us in our photoshoot. We have a professional photographer laid on for the 6th August at our exhibit in Citywest, Dublin, where we will all meet and from there we will move to a number of locations locally to do some set scene photography. These photographs will then be used in a range of exhibitions across the country for National Breastfeeding Week in October 2010. If you, your partner, baby/toddler or any other family member or friend would like to be involved in this photoshoot, please pop us a mail/PM. Our aim is to emphasise the "beauty, naturalness and normality of breastfeeding", so please do not feel shy. It’s going to be a fun day so come on ladies we need you, your babes and your boobs to make it happen!!!
(2) Breastfeeding Photo Collage
We are also compiling a collage of breastfeeding photos and are looking for your beautiful photo’s to be included (if you’d like to share them that is….) Whether they be old or new, even a couple of generations old, only one or two or ten, we’d love to see them! This collage will be displayed at two seperate venues in Dublin alongside some original pieces of artwork during World Breastfeeding Week 2010. Photo’s received after the 24th of July will be included in the collage for NBW 2010. So get your camera’s out and get snapping ladies!
